Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. The role includes monitoring activities, controlling access, preventing unauthorized entry, and responding to security incidents while maintaining discipline and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrolling and surveillance systems.
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Verify ID cards, passes, and visitor registers.
• Ensure adherence to security rules and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as theft, fire, or accidents.
• Report suspicious activities or security breaches to senior authorities.
• Maintain daily security logs, incident reports, and registers.
• Assist during emergency evacuations and safety drills.
• Coordinate with local police or emergency services when required.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass.
• Security training or certification is an added advantage.
• Ex-servicemen or trained guards are preferred.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard preferred.
• Freshers can apply for junior security roles.

Work Environment

• Shift-based duty (day/night).
• Indoor and outdoor work depending on assignment.
