The Field Sales Officer is responsible for achieving sales targets through direct customer visits, lead generation, and relationship building. The role involves on-ground sales activities, market expansion, and customer servicing while representing the company professionally in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field visits to identify and approach potential customers.
- Promote and sell company products or services in assigned areas.
- Generate leads, follow up, and close sales effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
- Ensure proper documentation, onboarding, and payment collection (if applicable).
- Submit daily activity reports and sales updates to the supervisor.
- Follow company sales processes and ethical practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Good customer-handling and relationship management skills.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones, apps, and MS Office.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in field sales or direct sales roles.
- Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered.

- Field-based role involving extensive local travel within Surat.
