Field Sales Officer

The Field Sales Officer is responsible for achieving sales targets through direct customer visits, lead generation, and relationship building. The role involves on-ground sales activities, market expansion, and customer servicing while representing the company professionally in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily field visits to identify and approach potential customers.
  • Promote and sell company products or services in assigned areas.
  • Generate leads, follow up, and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
  • Ensure proper documentation, onboarding, and payment collection (if applicable).
  • Submit daily activity reports and sales updates to the supervisor.
  • Follow company sales processes and ethical practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Good customer-handling and relationship management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of smartphones, apps, and MS Office.

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in field sales or direct sales roles.
  • Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered.

Work Environment

  • Field-based role involving extensive local travel within Surat.
  • Performance-driven sales environment.
