Data Entry Specialist

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in computer systems and databases. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy while handling confidential information and supporting daily operational and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately into systems, software, or spreadsheets.
  • Update and maintain databases and digital records regularly.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Scan, organize, and manage physical and digital documents.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly data reports as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.
  • Coordinate with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical support tasks.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer knowledge and data handling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Computer certification or data entry training is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in data entry or clerical roles.
  • Freshers with good typing skills can apply.

Work Environment
