CASA Personal Banker

The CASA Personal Banker is responsible for acquiring and managing Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) customers, deepening customer relationships, and driving deposit growth. The role focuses on customer acquisition, cross-selling banking products, and delivering superior service while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new CASA customers through field visits, referrals, and branch leads.
  • Open and service Savings and Current Accounts as per KYC and compliance norms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and business customers.
  • Cross-sell banking products such as fixed deposits, loans, cards, and digital banking services.
  • Ensure activation and usage of digital channels (mobile banking, internet banking, UPI).
  • Meet monthly and quarterly CASA acquisition and deposit targets.
  • Handle customer queries, service requests, and complaint resolution.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of CASA products, banking operations, and KYC norms.
  • Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
  • Willingness to do field sales and customer visits in Surat city.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA (Finance/Marketing) is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in CASA sales, personal banking, or relationship management.
  • Fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude may be considered for junior roles.

Work Environment

  • Combination of branch-based and field sales work.
  • Regular interaction with customers, merchants, and business owners.
