The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for managing overall branch operations, staff supervision, customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role ensures smooth functioning of the branch while supporting business growth and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end branch operations and daily workflows.
- Supervise branch staff and ensure productivity and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and company policies.
- Monitor branch performance, MIS, and operational KPIs.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and service issues.
- Coordinate with sales, credit, and support teams.
- Ensure proper cash management, documentation, and record keeping.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections.
- Implement operational improvements and process enhancements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong branch management and leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of banking/NBFC operations and compliance.
- Analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in core banking systems and MS Office tools.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, or Finance.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
